Yes — you can audit how the bots read a résumé for free with no account, and a free account adds a monthly full check, the live editor, saved history, and the talent pool. The optional Job-Hunt Pass unlocks unlimited checks and the AI tools for the length of a search — it's a one-time pass, not a recurring subscription.
Do you store my résumé?+
If you're signed out, your file is processed in memory and discarded — never stored. If you're signed in, we save the results (scores, detected fields, the ATS-safe rebuild) so you can revisit them, and you can delete any scan anytime. We never keep your original uploaded file. Does this submit my résumé to an employer or ATS?+
No. Past the Bots analyzes your résumé the way an ATS would parse it, so you can see and fix problems before you apply. It never submits anything to any employer or job board on your behalf.
Will the AI invent experience I don't have?+
No. The AI tools are built to surface and sharpen your real experience using the wording a job calls for — they're explicitly instructed not to fabricate roles, skills, or numbers. Always review the output before you use it.
